How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
Town Belt Kaitiaki is a collaborative community education initiative that engages young people in Dunedin with environmental leadership and kaitiaki opportunities centred around Dunedin's town belt. The programme works with more than 15 education facilities from ECE to highschool, with students engaging in learning and skill building in all aspects of their learning using the environment of the town belt as the primary focus. Much of the work done by Town Belt Kaitiaki directly supports the implementation of the DCC's Te Ao Turoa Environment strategy. The DCC has supported Town Belt Kaitiaki for several years, however changing costs and a desire to grow this programme means it requires further support. It would be great to come and talk to the DCC about the incredible outcomes of this project and how the DCC could support these.

What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
