How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
Not so good with funding for the Otago Museum. I gather that the DCC is committing to a 2% increase in funding for the Museum for the coming financial year. With inflation currently running at 7% this will mean that the Museum will have to cut back on services and compromise its mission to serve the people of Dunedin and Otago. Please increase the grant to the mueum to at least 7% above the previous year's level.
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
Establish a southern town belt, starting at St Clair and working around the lower slopes through Kew and CAversham to link up with the twon belt at the Southern Cemetery.
