How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
The Otago museum is going from strength to strength, but it can't continue to function as it should for the benefit of citizens from Otago and those visiting from further afield without adequate funding. I was particularly moved recently when I attended the opening of the Maori exhibition Ngā Hau Ngākau (Breath of Mine) at 5.30. To a Pakeha this was amazing and illustrated an essential role of our museum. I urge the DCC to increase funding in the present round to at least the level of inflation.
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
