You're doing great! However I am very concerned about the museum's ability to provide essential services (education programmes) and maintain valuable resources (collections, research) in light of the reduced funding as a result of the increased DCC's Levy amounting to less than inflation (2% c.f. 7%). Given the constraints in funding the museum has experienced in relation to drop offs in visitor numbers due to Covid, it is additionally vital that the increase in the DCC's Levy matches inflation at 7%. .
The museum is a fantastic resource for both Dunedin and NZ residents and visiting tourists with a long and proud history of serving the public - please support it in the form of adequate funding!
