How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
As a avid 70 year old cyclist I would plead with council to keep on developing the cycle network. I live in Mosgiel and there is no dedicated biking apart from a painted line on Factory Road. Each time my wife and myself go for a ride we really feel nervous as we decide which roads maybe not so busy so perhaps a little safer. It would be wonderful to be able to bike to Outram (ultimately Waihola) off road and also into Dunedin via the tunnels. I hope council will support these initiatives.
I am a member of a 140 strong midweek bike group (shark bell riders) whose members all support the above. It would be wonderful to bike to meet them at the esplanade rather than dragging a vehicle over the two hills. Thank you for listening.
