I think the council needs to review the dog access to areas of the beaches in South dunedin. I don't think they should be allowed at the Anderson Bay cemetary, many times have seen dogs off the leash and poo not picked up. Have had a trial...doesn't work. Also no dogs on John Wilson Drive. Many dogs off the leash. Again poo not collected ...we also have Tourists back, an old population, families with kids, active runners & cyclist and then also the wildlife - seals and penguins - to protect. There are local dog parks plus Tomahawk and Waldronville beaches that can be promoted as dog only...everyone is then safe and happy.
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
