Toilets.
Over recent years the increase in visitors to the Aramoana area has highlighted the need for PUBLIC TOILETS at Shelly beach, Aramoana.This has been a ongoing request/issue for over documented 10yrs or more.
Domain/Play Ground.
Since the installation of the wonderful play ground (big thanks to DCC) the need for a carparking area at the domain entrance has become obvious .Visitors are having to park on the main road (Moana street) which has become a hazard for excited children & parents exiting vehicles to access the play ground/Domain.
Port Chalmers to Aramoana Road.
The road has become more frequently impassable owing to tidal and storm events .The sea wall and road needing upgrades to mitigate .
Aramoana Pilots Wharf.
With more frequent weather events as per above roading issues the likelihood that the village will be isolated for extended periods due to slips etc the Pilots wharf (voted by DCC to reinstate) will become our only lifeline .
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
