I support the development not just of the Tunnel Trails project (which will be invaluable for commuters and recreational cyclists and walkers). It is highly desirable that it is completed as soon as possible.
It would also greatly benefit Dunedin and the Taieri area to have the trail extended to reach Outram and then to link up with the nearly completed extension from Lawrence to Waihola and thus to the Great Rides network. Creating a well-connected network would bring a lot of tourists and trade to our city in addition to enhancing healthy opportunities for residents.
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
