How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
We need to be more Europeanised - I think get rid of cars in the city completely. More bikes and pedestrian access. More green space.
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
More bike infrastructure throughout city. More safe cycle laneways, with concrete or tree barriers from dooring. Lock up facilities for bikes. There's scope at Portobello to put in a bike lock up facility (could service locals who are just riding to Portobello from further out such as Harwood) and maybe a few rental ebikes for tourists to head to Tairoa head - as they often get off the bus at Portobello and then have no idea how to get further 10km to the tip.
Why can't Dunedin be like Denmark or some funky EU city that is not so car infrastrucuture driven.
