Not good. The city seems backward and stuck in the early 90s when you go to any other city in nz
What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
Actual vision for an exciting future and preserving what's good. Proper support for culture, a 7% increase in funding for museum. Theatre and music venues and brave legislation around preserving artist ability to make noise in the CBD, music venue protection, and the ability to create theatre work in Dunedin by strategic support for local artists. A long term plan to maximize Dunedin strengths (waterfront) that doesn't allow for a developer lead ridiculous 'big ego landmark building $$$" approach, instead prioritize connecting people to nature and allowing nature into the city through connecting the two harbour walkways with pleasant green space and low environmental impact buildings, removal of all the decrepit stuff.
