How are we doing? Is there anything you would like to tell us?
You're doing great. I would love to ask for more focus on the following three items: - More parking and more affordable parking in the CBD, keeping in mind that the population is ageing and many elderly folk cannot walk far. - Improved vehicle traffic management; vehicles use less fuel and thus less carbon impact the less time they spend on the road, so we could improve the flow of traffic hugely by prioritising vehicles at intersections or providing separate service levels (e.g. build subways and overbridges for pedestrians). - A vehicle travelling at 10km/h is much less efficient than one travelling at 50km/h, so reconsider exceptionally low speed limits. - Graffiti seems to be a huge problem in Dunedin; attention can be given to removal of graffiti and improving the problem; identify the culprits (perhaps install more CCTV around town) and dish out fines; let them pay for the repairs.

What other ideas should we be thinking about to include in future plans for our city?
- Improved link for passengers from the Dunedin airport to city centre and back. - Reconsider the use of electric scooters. I often see scooters fallen over on pavements, a real safety risk. Users often speed along pavements missing pedestrians by millimetres. Some cities elsewhere are banning rental scooters and I'm not convinced they are a good thing. - Encourage growth! Dunedin has enormous potential.
