Recycling. As a pensioner I produce minimal waste but have to pay for a bin to be emptied every week. Prefer Auckland’s tag purchase system.
Reminder that Dunedin is large and doesn’t just include St Clair. Road resurfacing in wealthier suburbs is superior quality to roads in less affluent areas. Chip and seal is terrible to live with as it melts in hot weather and causes chip to wash into storm drains until it’s all gone (except the seal, which continues to melt for years).
Consider underground cabling to get rid of eyesore electricity wiring.
